You May Not Remember Me.

You may not remember me

when life seems to be driving you at one hundred miles per hour.

You may not remember me

when all is said and done,

when friends have been and gone.

When you ignored the ones in which you feel you tower.

You may not remember me.

As you sobbed to the skies,

as you showed me your heart

then mindlessly watched me depart, be torn apart.

You may not remember me.

The friend who loved you and gave you breath unconditionally,

the friend that gave you THEIR heart additionally

the friend you stamped on

and left as good as tragic, abandoned art.

You may not remember me.

Your oxygen, your life, your air, your home.

But I will remember you, I remember all of you- I do.
